Chana: Warehouse stocks increase ::

Exchange warehouse stocks are continuously on the rise. MCX and NCDEX warehouses have combined stocks of nearly 41,000 tonne as on June 20, 2007. Some selling in futures and buying in spot would also put pressure on the July contract. This is because of the fact the July contract is trading at a high premium of Rs80 vis-à-vis spot prices. For the near-term prices would not make a sharp upmove but any sharp drop in prices is also not expected.
