Nifty (May) futures’ premium decreased to 5.8 from 12.5 and shed around 40 lakh shares in open interest while Nifty (June) futures added around 36.5 lakh shares in open interest.The total open interest in the market was 67,400 crore and added around 972 crore in open interest. Nifty calls added 2.3 lakh shares and puts added 8 lakh shares in open interest .
