Current month futures for NIFTY closed at 4260.65 (Rs. 12.50 PREMIUM) with a turnover of Rs. 11592.23 Crores. Sheds 1117400 shares(-3.86%) in open interest bringing down the open interest to 27797300 shares. The total open interest in the market is 64,085 crore and shed around 1,184 crore in open interest.Nifty (May) futures turned into premium of 17.35 from a discount of 0.9 and shed around 11.18 lakh shares in open interest while Nifty (June) futures added around 18.39 lakh shares in open interest.The total open interest in the market was 66,427 crore and added around 2,341 crore in open interest.Nifty calls added 8.2 lakh shares and puts added 8.8 lakh shares in open interest.
